Jesus Christ offered the end of the pagan and primitive Jewish customs of slaying animals for their own sins. That is the New Covenant. Jesus Christ took all our sins on Himself as a Korrban/corban/qorban, so we should have no more need to sacrifice any animals or anything any more for our sins.
